I'm trying a little experiment the next couple of weeks, in part as a reaction to all the interruptions/distraction I've had the past couple of days. I'm going to try not going on the internet on Sundays. No email, no blog, no Google, no Television Without Pity. My work computer is deliberately not hooked up to the net, so I'll still be working, just with no internet breaks.Today, it would have been nice to go to our RWA chapter meeting. For one thing, I enjoy conversations with live people. Instead, I worked a solid four hours revising one scene. One scene. To be sure, it's an important scene, but this isn't even the final draft.
Now I need a break. A Clive Owen In a Historical Movie break. I think you know where I'm heading.

I wish you the best with your experiment. I try to remember that every time I say "yes" to something, that I am also saying "no" to several other things!

I think that's an excellent experiment. I may have to give that one a try too. I hope the movie was a good one!
Not 100%, because I realized I hadn't told my family! So I did check email and respond to one from a family member. I'd like to keep trying, though. I've had a LOT of unforeseen interruptions lately, and need the time.
