I'm slowly accepting that I have to get more with it when it comes to new media. I've been concerned about the time it will take away from writing and the rest of my life, but I don't want to be left out in the cold, either.
Therefore, I have finally signed up for MySpace and Shelfari. I'm adding and/or changing those pages slowly, because I have a lot on my plate for the next few weeks, and there are always, as I've discovered yet again, things that crop up unexpectedly, too. But hey, if you want to "friend" me, please do! If I'm slow getting back to you, please be patient. I'm baby-steppin'.

Make sure you fill out and claim your author page on shelfari. It is fairly quick to do.
I tend to use shelfari to find new authors etc.
My space is very good and it is great to have another channel for author outreach.
Done -- first thing. :-) It's linking to all my books that's going to take the most time. For some reason -- I blame my aged computer -- trying to grab them from my website (other than the index page) doesn't work. I've tried a few times, with a few pages. Still no joy. Sigh...
I'm going to try going via Daughter's newer computer to see if that will work.
It shouldn't be so bad.
If you do a search for Margaret Moore, you should come up with all the MMs on shelfari and be able to link with them that way.
Generally, if it is listed on Amazon, it is there.
Try not to list books before they have the cover as then you might not get the cover on your book shelf. And remember to favourite your latest so it is goes on your profile page.
There again, your daughter is probably up on all of this.
